The Angelo and Jennette Volpe Library provides students complete access to over 367,000 books and e-books, 100,000 periodicals, and 10,000 databases. The library also provides students access to private individual and group study rooms and computer labs. The tutoring center is open for everybody. You just have to make an appointment and go downstairs, and they'll help you with whatever you need help with.
First floor is very relaxed. You can go in there with a group and be pretty much as loud as you want. The third floor is quiet. It's for when you want to be by yourself to really focus on what you're doing. In the library, there's Au Bon Pain, where you can get pastries, salads, coffee.
The iCube and Maker Space are on the second floor. In the iCube, you can view anything in virtual reality. So for the nursing students, it's really cool to be able to walk through the heart or the digestive system to really understand what's going on there. And in the Maker Space, there's 3D printers where people from different majors can come together and create whatever it is they want to create.
