So I knew Tech had a really good engineering school. Didn't really know anybody here, but came on a visit and just kind of fell in love and knew it was just going to be the right place for me.
I chose Tennessee Tech because when I came here, everybody was so kind. My professors were so helpful. And I just came to audition. Just one day showed me that within four years I can just become such a better musician than I was.
I chose to come to Tech because honestly, it's a great community, a great learning environment here. There's always an opportunity to seek help and seek learning advantages here in this area and at this university. It really offers an individualized approach to learning and one structured around the students' well-being.
Tech is a great distance away from home. I also love the size of campus. It's not too large, but it's big enough to feel like an actual university. And here I'm at college and getting the college experience.
I could have gone literally anywhere, because my parents would have supported me wherever I went. But I just-- I loved Tennessee Tech. Like I fell in love with it when I toured it. And it just, honestly, it just felt like home.
